Dr Esther Amarasingham

Dr Esther Amarasingham is an experienced and compassionate General Practitioner with a strong focus on skin cancer detection, diagnosis, treatment and prevention. She is dedicated to providing thorough, personalised care and helping patients maintain healthy skin through early detection and effective management of skin cancers.

Dr Esther graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her General Practice training in London in 2016 before relocating to Australia in 2017. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

With a keen interest in skin cancer medicine, Dr Esther provides comprehensive skin examinations, including full-body skin checks and dermoscopic assessments to identify suspicious moles, lesions and other skin abnormalities. She also performs skin biopsies and surgical excisions for the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers.

Dr Esther strongly believes that early detection is key to achieving better outcomes in skin cancer treatment. She places great importance on preventative care, regular skin examinations and educating patients about sun protection, skin cancer risk factors and the warning signs of potentially concerning skin changes.

Known for her gentle, caring and approachable manner, Dr Esther takes the time to listen to her patients, explain findings and discuss appropriate treatment options. Her goal is to ensure every patient feels comfortable, informed and confident in the care they receive.
